He has conducted international orchestras throughout the world in numerous countries including Austria, the UK, the US, Canada, Hungary, Finland, the former USSR, Armenia, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Denmark. Tjeknavorian has received numerous international awards such as Austria’s Cross of Honor for Science and Art First Class.
